Rigorous research, evaluation and analytics to help clients navigate complex challenges

Fortia Insight’s health, care and wellbeing team combines rigorous research, evaluation and analytics to help clients navigate complex challenges across health, care and the wider determinants of wellbeing. With deep roots in public policy and social impact, we support national and local partners to make informed, equitable and evidence-led decisions.

We have delivered work for NHS England, the Department of Health and Social Care and the Care Quality Commission, as well as governments and health organisations across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our partnerships span influential bodies, such as the Office for National Statistics, the Health Foundation and the Local Government Association, alongside local authorities, commissioners, providers and VCSE organisations.

We take a cross-sector approach to help partners understand how systems interact and to design integrated solutions. We use research, evaluation and analytics to support digital innovation and service transformation, and we work across the wider determinants of health and wellbeing – including housing and homelessness, employment, caring roles, food systems, neighbourhoods and the natural environment.

Our team brings together experience in advanced data analysis, economics, evaluation, public health and social research. We work collaboratively, ask relevant questions and balance analytical rigour with real-world relevance. With national bodies or local systems, we aim to support learning, reduce inequalities and help services make better decisions based on robust evidence and grounded in the realities of delivery.
